Global India Olympiads – Nurturing Excellence in Arts, Science, and Mathematics
Global India Olympiads is an academic and creative excellence initiative designed to provide students with opportunities to demonstrate their knowledge, skills, creativity and problem-solving abilities at national and international levels. The Olympiad platform consists of three major categories — Global India Arts Olympiad (GIAO), Global India Science Olympiad (GISO), and Global India Math Olympiad (GIMO).
Each Olympiad is designed according to the students' age and academic level, with an emphasis on conceptual understanding, creativity, reasoning, application and excellence.
The Global India Arts Olympiad (GIAO) is a creative platform designed to encourage students to explore and demonstrate their artistic talents, imagination and originality. The Olympiad provides opportunities for students to express their ideas through different forms of art and creativity.
The primary objective is to nurture creativity and artistic expression among students. It encourages participants to think imaginatively, develop original ideas and communicate their thoughts through artistic forms.
Participants are evaluated based on creativity, originality, concept, imagination, presentation, technique and overall artistic expression.
The Global India Science Olympiad (GISO) is an academic competition designed to develop scientific curiosity, conceptual understanding, logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities among students.
The main objective is to promote scientific thinking and encourage students to understand science beyond conventional classroom learning with emphasis on observation and reasoning.
Questions assess understanding, observation, reasoning and ability to apply scientific principles to practical situations through objective, conceptual and application-based formats.
The Global India Math Olympiad (GIMO) is designed to encourage mathematical thinking, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills among students through challenging and interesting problems.
The primary objective is to develop students' mathematical reasoning and problem-solving abilities. The Olympiad encourages pattern identification and analytical thinking.
Includes multiple-choice, reasoning-based, analytical and problem-solving questions designed to assess computational ability, conceptual understanding and application of mathematical principles.
Students participating in Global India Olympiads may receive certificates based on their level of participation and achievement. Outstanding performers receive Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals, Merit Awards, Certificates of Excellence and Special Achievement Awards.
Schools and institutions that demonstrate significant participation and achievement are considered for institutional recognition and accreditation through the Global India Olympiads platform.
Global India Olympiads provide a common platform for students from different schools, educational institutions and regions to participate in academic and creative competitions.
Through GIAO, GISO and GIMO, the programme aims to promote knowledge sharing, creativity, healthy competition and recognition of student talent across geographical boundaries.
The vision of Global India Olympiads is to identify, encourage and celebrate young talent by providing meaningful opportunities in Arts, Science and Mathematics. Through these three Olympiad categories, we aim to inspire students to learn, think creatively, solve problems and pursue excellence in their respective fields.
